We will begin with an update from our Principal, Ms. Corduck and Vice Principal, Mr. Hill and you will have an opportunity to ask questions. The board will then provide updates on how the PTO is doing and what we’re up to in the coming months. We hope to see you there!

| PTO Membership Update A big THANK YOU to all who have joined the Bowman PTO so far this year. Approximately 23% of families have already joined as PTO members for 2025-2026. Help us get to 85%!!
The Bowman PTO supports school programs, funds teacher supplies and staff recognition activities, and organizes community events. We raise approximately $150 per child per year. The PTO is self-sustaining and relies entirely on parent volunteers. Membership is free, but your donation to the PTO now reduces the need for additional fundraising asks throughout the year! Contributions at all levels are welcome. |

LHS BUILDING PROJECT UPDATE |
| “Haven’t we voted for the new high school already?” “I thought the new high school was already happening…?”
We hear this a lot—especially from elementary and middle school parents. The answer is NO - we have NOT YET voted on the debt exclusion for the high school building project.
The town-wide vote on December 8 determines IF the new high school gets built. It is a simple YES or no vote.
This project has been years in the making, with hundreds of public and community meetings to develop the design. In other words, we’ve been talking about this a long time! Yes, there was a critically important town election last March—thank you if you voted! But the vote on December 8 is the most important step in the entire project.
Visit www.yes4lex.org to find out more about the project, like what happens if we vote no, and how you can get involved. |

Meet the AI Chatbot Built by Lexington Teens for Our Community As part of the Youth STEAM Initiative, our chatbot team has been collaborating with the Yes4Lex advocacy group to develop a customized chatbot for answering questions about the new high school project. The chatbot draws information exclusively from official documents provided by the Lexington School Committee and its affiliates, ensuring that responses are accurate and up to date, rather than relying on potentially outdated or unofficial web sources. We are truly grateful for your willingness to help us by serving as testers. You can access the beta release here: https://chat.youthsteaminitiative.org/ |
